Queen Chioma Nworgu is one of UK’s leading young Entrepreneurs, a Motivational Speaker, Success Coach, Singer and a Beauty Queen currently residing in North London but was born in Southampton and moved to London at the age of 4. She is from a family of 7 and has 3 sisters and 1 brother.
She has 2 degree’s and this year she has won 4 titles this year. Last year she only peaked at 2nd Runner up for Miss West Sussex 2010 during her journey of competing across UK at 10 staged heats for Miss Great Britain however this year she came back with ‘determination to succeed’ (the title of her mother’s new book) and as a result Queen Chioma has won Miss Charity UK 2011, Miss Stardust Boutique 2011, Miss Publicity London 2011 and Miss Charity Kent 2011.
She raised a sum of over £481.00 for Rainbow Child Foundation Charity (a charity set up by Chico from X-factor) and Headway (a Brain Injury Charity). Winning this new title of Miss Charity UK 2011 means that Queen will join the other 65 finalists that will compete at the European finals for the title of Face of Europe 2011, held in Disney Land Paris from in December 2011. Queen Chioma states ‘It wasn’t an easy win, I worked really hard to raise money for the charities which included singing at events, speaking at events and getting my local Highbury Community involved in fundraising and also did some fancy dress. I was interviewed out of the top 6 Miss Charity UK finalists and I was overwhelmed with joy when got the call from the Face of Europe telling me that I had won Miss Charity UK 2011.
Queen Chioma will be officially crowned at the ceremony on the 5th of December. She states ‘I am so excited that I will be competing at Disney Land Paris in December for the title of Face of Europe 2011, I have always wanted to compete at an international pageant. I really want to win and be a role model and an inspiration to young people across Europe’. Despite her pageant competition Queen Chioma works as a Marketing Director of Focus Learning Support Ltd to support her family business. She follows in her mother’s footsteps of ‘determination to succeed’ by combining her talents Motivational Speaker, Success Coach, Presenter and a Singer. She regularly performs and speaks at events across UK and abroad and organises seminars on success to help young people under the age of 35 to achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations. On her radio show she regularly interviews young and successful entrepreneurs and role models in society to inspire young people.
Queen Chioma states ‘I have been labelled by fans as a woman of all talents. I do believe I have a lot of talents, it’s a blessing but sometimes it can get tricky for me trying to figure out what I should focus on. I started off been an actress with dreams of acting on Eastenders and was a free-lance hairdresser and working in Retail while also studying a Law degree at University. Now my life is different I didn’t become a Lawyer instead I have a MA degree in Education and a BA (Hons) degree in Mass Communications and Sociology, I didn’t become an actress but instead became a singer and I seem to have traded in my hairdressing for making home-made cards instead’.
Queen Chioma was pushed into studying Law and doing things to please her family, however she finally found freedom by changing her course she started to encourage youths to follow their dreams and to do the things that they are good at in their lives. This year she released a motivational CD titled ‘The Year of Greater Achievement, 7 steps on how to achieve great things in life’ as a way of inspiring the youths of London, giving them my tips of how I achieved success.
She states ‘I also worked hard in the studio to create CD my new EP titled ‘Because of you’ I love singing and I write all my songs, I am blessed to have worked with Daniel Spiller – Shoot the Dog Productions and I am thankful to my Mother for her on-going financial, mental, emotional and moral support in my career aspirations.
The young, gifted and talented Queen Chioma will also be releasing her 1st Music Video for the song ‘Because of you’ in November 2011. She states
