My name is Renica Greene and I just wanted to thank you for providing the Director’s guide online for me to purchase for my 1st time experience. Your step by step guide helped me successfully pull off a preliminary to our State Pageant in just 6 weeks! It was scary and very hectic but what a success it was! My national director was so impressed that she asked me to do two more this year and then do the preliminary again next year! The Miss New Orleans Pageant is Proud to Announce it’s New Director!!!!
Jennifer Nichole Connor,
Jennifer Nichole Connor is a native of New Orleans and is an alumnus of Tulane University where she cheered and was on the dean’s list. She is the former Miss Texas United States 2008 and competed in the national Miss United States 2008 pageant in Las Vegas that summer. She most recently held the title of Miss Louisiana United States 2010 where she featured on ABC-26 “Good Morning New Orleans” show.
As the new Owner/Executive Producer of the Miss New Orleans Pageant, Jennifer brings her many years of experience in modeling and pageantry as a former pageant contestant, judge, coach and in helping behind the scenes. Jennifer has always been active in any community in which she resides. She is the founder/owner of Starlette Cheerleading & Dance (a company and youth program she started as a teen) and holds clinics though out the state of Louisiana and Texas for young girls. In addition, Jennifer visits schools including KIPP Elementary in New Orleans and serves as a mentor and volunteer at a local youth recreational center in Houston.
In addition to modeling and pageantry, Jennifer has experience in television and has worked for CW 39 News in Houston where she did reporting and featured as a model in several fashion/ news segments for the station. She featured as a finalist on ABC 13 “Making of a Houston Texans NFL Cheerleader”, served as a commercial spokesperon for Houston Video Yellow Pages, worked as a spokesperson & sports reporter for Gladiatorsmagazine.com (a local sports website in Houston), and was selected to take part in a commercial mini-documentary in Los Angeles as a spokesperson for Microsoft Bing.
Jennifer brings much to the table and looks forward to continuing the tradition of the Miss New Orleans Pageant system.

Oh my, after reading through your kit I feel so silly! haha I am not even close to finished and I have already learned so much! I wish I had read this before I sent out paperwork for my upcoming pageant because I would have changed quite a few things. I love all of this new info and I am brainstorming up a million ways to incorporate it into my little pageant . I will make sure to let everyone know how helpful it has been! Thank you! Thank you! Congratulations to Michelle Griggsby of Texas. Michelle purchased the Director’s Kit and shares in her success. Mrs. Griggsby has created the My Dream Pageant! It will be held in Kansas on October 3rd.
