Hey Shelly,

My ’staff’ is all here now… Shari Tisdale and Scherrill McNutt are my people with the Miss Girl Next Door Pageants.  We’re about to do our kick off and I want to give you and your people a heads up… if you will take a moment and look at my site… www.missgirlnextdoor.org

We have shifted gears since you and I talked about what we are doing.  What we are doing to do is hold a ‘reality television show’ on the pageant format.  We have so much momentum going and as of TONIGHT, the site is live and ladies can register for the auditions.  We’re limiting it, unlike American Idol, who packs 105,000 people into a football stadium and then actually choose around 1,000 people to ‘audition’.  We’re charging a $95 audition fee, but we’re guaranteeing the ladies a two minute audition with the Judges and we’re choosing 20 ladies from each city to take to our ‘boot camp’.  At boot camp we will do pageantry training and score the ladies… eliminating the 140 ladies at boot camp to 36 for the pageant… which will be ‘live’ on network television in May or June and America will get to actually vote for who wins this.

We believe we will take what Trump has done in bringing pageantry back to a popularity on television to making pageantry a daily talk at the water cooler!

Let me know what you think and you may start telling anyone you want to about the site.  As I said, it is live and they can register… we will be doing a national press release by the end of this week… after we get more pictures and so forth on the site.

The cook off was a huge success and proceded went to Candi Reese, a local pageant director in Louisiana, who is fighting throat cancer. Our prayers are with you Candi and your custom banners are beautiful.

A fundraiser gets folks off the sofa and on to the pageant events. Having a fund raiser can generate new potential contestants and money for the production. Here is some info for a cook off that I am having the night before my pageant on Sunday.
